Hamid Sabet, Managing Director

Hamid leads the overall organization, with responsibility for strategic growth, new business development and client relationships for HSG.

Hamid brings a vast body of knowledge from more than 20 years as a management consultant with KPMG, Price Waterhouse Coopers and IBM Consulting, as well as his work with DePuy. His expertise includes designing and implementing efficiency programs for the treatment of musculoskeletal impairments, as well as strategic planning, organizational change management and healthcare information technology. His introduction of Six Sigma Lean Process Excellence and Rummler-Brache process improvement programs to practice management, patient clinics and operating rooms has resulted in significant operational and financial improvements.

Hamid holds an undergraduate degree in information technology from Babson College.

Steve is responsible for managing the delivery group that implements our programs. Before joining HSG, Steve was Director of Business Intelligence for the Remicade ™ business unit of Centocor, Inc. Steve began his career with Johnson & Johnson in 1997, managing the OrthoComplete ™ Clinical Outcomes System. He later managed large-scale process improvement projects across Johnson & Johnson global organizations. Steve earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Bryant University and holds Green Belt certification in Six Sigma Process Excellence.

Shaun Harrison, Director of Sales and Marketing

Shaun is responsible for developing new business segments, creating professional educational programs for healthcare providers and developing new product initiatives to expand the portfolio of HSG service offerings.

Shaun brings an extensive level of experience with over 25 years in the medical device business. He has held positions in Engineering, Operations, Sales Management, Product Management, and Quality Improvement spanning neurosurgery, spine surgery and sports medicine. Most recently Shaun has held the position of Director, Field Marketing in DePuy Spine leading the field marketing group from its inception providing sales and surgeon training, as well as competitive analysis and field based collateral materials for new product introductions. Shaun holds a BS in Engineering from Northeastern University

Steven Giguere, Senior Program Manager

Steve oversees the overall operational aspects of ongoing client engagement projects as well as optimizing process efficiency and change management. His most recent accomplishments with the Healthcare Solutions Group include oversight of assessments and implementations for large integrated process delivery.

Steve has a broad background, with experience on both the business and clinical sides. He held various positions during more than six years in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry. A nationally certified audiologist, Steve is an experienced clinician and has practiced for more than eight years. He is able to incorporate his clinical experiences in hospitals and medical facilities with his business and efficiency skills to provide clients with high-performing, measurable improvements in productivity, patient and staff satisfaction, and financial performance.

Steve earned an undergraduate degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Rhode Island, where he went on to earn two graduate degrees including a Master of Science Degree and a Master of Business Administration.

Charmi Pandey, Program Manager

Charmi manages the operational aspects of Healthcare Solutions Group’s ongoing client engagements. She works with HSG clients to address operating room efficiency and length-of-stay issues within the patient surgical pathway, from solution development to implementation.

Charmi has more than six years’ experience working with hospitals and pharmaceutical companies. Before joining HSG, she served as a consultant for Computer Sciences Corporation, assisting healthcare providers and life sciences organizations with strategy and business process development and project management, as well as IT application development and system administration. She has worked with hospitals in the Boston and New York areas to improve departmental efficiency and organization, increase patient and staff satisfaction, develop innovative patient care programs and improve financial accountability and performance.

Charmi holds a master’s degree in public health policy and management from Columbia University and a BA in Eastern religion from Boston University.

Stephen Darby, Program Manager

Steve manages the operational aspects of Healthcare Solutions Group’s (HSG) ongoing client engagements. He works with HSG clients to address operating room efficiency and length-of-stay issues within the patient surgical pathway, from solution development to implementation.

Steve has a broad background, with experience on both the business and sales sides in the Medical Device industry at DePuy Spine. As a Senior Business Analyst, he supported areas Sales Management and Sales Distributorships. Most recently he has held the position of Senior Marketing Financial Analyst, supporting Marketing, Strategic Marketing and New Business Development. In this role he worked closely with the marketing group in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, project activations, and compliance.

Prior to joining DePuy, Steve worked at Arthur Andersen and Tofias PC, both Public Accounting Firms. In these roles he planned, supervised, and performed financial statement audits for clients in the manufacturing, healthcare, utility, and not-for-profit industries. He is able to incorporate his finance and auditing experiences in hospitals and medical facilities to evaluate process improvements, cost savings and financial performance.

Steve earned an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut, and went on to earn a graduate degree, Masters of Science in Accounting.

Mr. Olivo has more than 40 years’ experience in the healthcare industry, helping hospitals and surgeons in more than 35 states design and implement innovative, cost-effective healthcare delivery systems.

His management advice and orthopaedic service–line systems improvements – particularly in total joint replacement – have helped HSG clients achieve Health Grades® (trademark of Health Grades, Inc.) awards and ranking among top–rated orthopaedic hospitals.
